What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a gentle relaxing treatment which helps with stress related problems many of us suffer in life. It is hypnosis along with Neuroscience and talking therapy with an element of CBT

What should I expect at the Initial Consultation

During the Initial Consultation, We go through a little bit of history about you. We talk about How you would like me to help and what you would like to achieve from the process. I will explain how the brain works, how we create anxiety, and what we can do to help with the issue you have. I will explain about sleep and how important it is to get the right amount. I will help you to understand about the metaphoric stress bucket and how you can empty it each night of stresses of the day. I give a brief explanation about neuroscience and how to keep a steady flow of serotonin using the 3 positives, thoughts, actions and interactions. After which I will give you a MP3 of my Relaxation Trance, to listen to each night before sleep, this helps with the process.


Sessions

Treatment can be one or two relaxation sessions, or can take between 6-12 for the best result. Fear or phobia can be treated in 4 sessions provided there are not other underlying issues. Giving up smoking can be achieved in a 1 x 2hour session, how good would you feel? Each sessions lasts 50 minutes. In each session we will talk about what has been good, and positives that week, and build in week by week small changes that we can make helping you to get to where you want to be. We finish off with a relaxation trance

What is Relaxation Trance

During this process the client is fully in control of everything but is in a relaxed state where they are able to think about positive thoughts and actions. Relaxation Trance, helps with the process by helping change the way we think, the way we act, and the way we behave. By breaking down old neuropathways which cause unwanted behaviours and patterns in the brain. Relaxation Trance helps us build new positive pathways in the brain. This will enable you to see clearer to be able to deal with things calmly. You will be happier, in control, able to cope better with life.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy,

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy does not focus on past events and traumas. There is nothing we can do to change the past and what has happened, but we are able to move on from it. A lot more clients are looking to find alternative ways of coping with daily problems, such as pain, grief, addiction, depression and many other anxiety related problems .Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, is an excellent way to help with stress related issues of any kind and also new issues that have surfaced due to COVID 19, bereavement. I offer one to one sessions in my Home Clinic, which is Covid safe. Zoom or on line sessions are available too at a time to suit you, we can discuss this in detail when we speak. On line sessions have proved to be popular and work just as well as face to face.
